1. Responsive Facade Prototypes
Workshop attendees will be required to bring their own Arduino kits and laptops.
At a minimum, one should come equipped with an Arduino board, a servo, an LED, a breadboard, a potentiometer and an LDR.
2. Photogrammetry: Scanning to 3D Models
Digital Camera (smartphone acceptable but results are better with a quality digital camera)

3. Parametric Facade Systems & Logistics Sequencing
This two-part instructional session will first step attendees through the creation, and documentation of a parametric, unitized facade system using the latest version of Dassault Systemes’ CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE on Cloud. The second portion of the session will focus on construction logistics sequencing in Navisworks, linking and animating geometry created in the first portion to a Microsoft Project schedule. There are no prerequisites and software used will include: CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE on Cloud, Navisworks Manage, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.

4. Dynamo Tools for Facade Design in Revit
Dynamo is a platform for computational design and analysis for BIM projects. The workshop will expose you to Dynamo’s capabilities for façade design and data manipulation in a Revit project. Learn to control custom Revit analysis surfaces, share and manipulate information among building elements, and move data in and out of a Revit project in various file formats for use by other software tools. Example workflows will include a computational approach to façade panelization, accommodating changing geometric conditions, and project documentation.
Familiarity with Dynamo (beginning tutorial videos suggested)
